Scribe's Notes
26 November, 2007.
This meeting was held at St. John's Church, and was attended by Nick H., Adrian, Josh, Joe, Jarrod, Robert, AJ and Jude.
This meeting was focused on the preparation for the Contraband Campout, to be held this weekend. Decisions were made about what games, movies and equipment to bring, together with food, etc., and how to arrange sharing responsibilities with Troop 243, who are joining us for this campout.
Fruit sales were also finalized, with top sellers being Josh, Adrian, Jonathon and Nick H. Over $3,000 of fruit was sold.
Some details about the Merit Badge College, to be run at Dayton in February, March and April, 2008, were discussed. Contact Dr. Hazelton if you want to register for this. You can earn up to three merit badges.
It was pointed out that additional requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class ranks go into effect on 1 January, 2008. These requirements are to help scouts deal with personal safety issues, and are concerned with BSA and the Troops keeping their scouts safer.
The meeting was closed at 8:30 p.m.
